Update - August 21 at 12:20 p.m.

I wanted to give four quick updates:

1. The latest word is that Kelly will be transferred to Georgetown Hospital today. So, that should reduce some of the stress that Travis and Kelly have endured during the last 24 hours.

2. Fairfax Church of Christ has assigned a prayer pager to Travis and Kelly thanks to the selflessness of Jerry Belknap. If you're not familiar with the prayer pager system, it's basically a pager assigned to someone who is in need of prayers. You page them each time you pray for them so they have tangible evidence of the many prayers going up on their behalf.

The prayer pager that has been assigned to Travis and Kelly is 703-331-4825. After you pray for Travis, Kelly, and Bennett:

• Dial the number
• After you hear the series of beeps, press #
• When you hear another series of beeps, the Specks know you just prayed for them

3. Bennett's Tot Site

Travis has created a site for Bennett that includes updates and photos. I have linked to that site on the right column of this page (the link is called "Bennett's Site"). Travis will be updating that as often as possible. Since things could be crazy for him during the next several days, however, I will maintain this site as a means of providing the most up-to-date information possible. Please share this site with anyone you know so that we can have an army of people praying for Travis, Kelly, and little Bennett.

4. Notes to Travis, Kelly, and Bennett

Please don't forget to write well wishes to Travis and Kelly on one of the posts below, called "Notes to Travis, Kelly, and Bennett." Click "Comments," then write your note to them to let them know you're praying for them. Travis confirmed this morning that he will read the notes as often as possible, but I will also be printing them out and taking them to Travis and Kelly so they can read them and gather strength from them. If you've commented on one of the other posts, don't worry, I'll be printing out ALL comments and taking them to Travis and Kelly.
