Kelly has posted a new update as of 4:30 p.m. today, so please read it by clicking "Bennett's Site" at the top of the right column.
Bennett has needed our prayers since he was born, but he especially needs them now. Doctors need to remove the infection that is sitting between his lungs and his rib cage to give his lungs the chance to fully inflate. They're going to need to do it surgically, but the risks of the surgery depend on whether or not Bennett stays on the bypass machine. Basically, the surgery will be more risky if Bennett remains on the bypass machine and blood thinners. So, we need to pray that he is strong enough to go off the bypass machine and off of the blood thinners before they perform the surgery. Based on Travis' earlier post, I believe the surgery will take place tomorrow. I'll check on it, however, and let you know.
I'm sure Travis and Kelly are very concerned right now, so we need to offer extra prayers on their behalf. Let's make the prayer pager buzz all night tonight!
Also, it seems that they might need the extra boost tomorrow instead of this weekend. So, if you can send your photo wishes tonight, I'll try to get them developed tomorrow morning and take them over to the hospital in the afternoon. As a reminder, the instructions for how to send a photo wish are in the right column.
Please pray often tonight, page Travis and Kelly often, and send your photo wishes. Until the next update, take care!
Verse for the moment: "Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day." - 1 Kings 8:28

We love you guys, and we're praying for Bennett's healing, especially right now - I know our God is strong to deliver him! We also pray that God will give you his peace tonight. Let the name of the Lord be praised!

Kelly and Travis ... We believe that God is faithful and has a plan for you and Bennett. With that promise, Bennett is in good hands.
