Update - August 25th at 11:15 p.m.

Travis updated Bennett's site tonight at 11 p.m., so please give it a read (click "Bennett's Site" at the top of the right column).

Although Bennett's condition has remained stable (thankfully) during the past couple of days, we must continue to pray for him, Travis, and Kelly, and we must continue to support and encourage them.

Matt and I dropped off the more of your comments for Travis and Kelly tonight at the NICU, but they had already gone home at the request of the staff there. So, they'll have a nice surprise waiting for them tomorrow when they arrive.

Don't forget that the prayer vigil begins tonight at midnight! It will continue until tomorrow night (Sunday) at midnight. If you haven't signed up yet, you can get the details in the right column under the link to "Bennett's Site". If you have signed up, don't forget to page Travis and Kelly throughout your 30 minutes of prayer time (or once it has completed). As a reminder, prayer pager instructions are in the right column.

As we pray tomorrow, I know we'll all be thinking about and praying for Travis, Kelly, Bennett, and the families. However, let's not forget to pray also for the staff in the Georgetown NICU. Let's both praise God for them as well as ask God to provide them with wisdom, compassion, and rest. They are an important part of this situation, so let's not forget to include them in our prayers. Finally, let's not forget to pray for John Peter, Bennett's new friend in the NICU. As you may know, he is a candidate for ECMO, so his condition is equally as serious and in need of prayer.
