Travis has posted a new entry and some new photos to Bennett's site. You can link to it by clicking "Bennett's Site" at the top of the right column. Once you're on the site, you'll need to click "Journal" at the top of the page to read his latest entry. Travis is so grateful for the laptop and internet access, so thanks to all that made it happen.
Please continue to pray throughout the day and page Travis and Kelly to let them know that they and Bennett are being lifted up. Prayer pager instructions are in the right column.
I will be printing the comments around noon and taking them over to the hospital. So, if you want to write a message to Travis, Kelly, grandparents, aunts, or uncles to be seen today, please post a comment to this site or Bennett's tot site by noon. Remember...even if you've already posted a message, feel free to post another to let everyone at the hospital know that they're in your daily thoughts. Posts added after noon today will be taken with the next batch.
Verse for the moment: "This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God..." -2 Corinthians 9:12-13

Travis, Kelly, and Bennett-
Although this situation is difficult, I want you to know that you are helping draw people closer to God. It's been a while since I've prayed this consistently throughout the day and night, so thank you for renewing my prayer life. I hope that, in the same way this situation is helping to renew the faith of others, you are renewed with strength and courage. I pray boldly that our prayers will be answered and Bennett will be healed. I pray boldly that you'll enjoy many, many years with him and we'll all be present to witness it. Finally, I pray for physical and emotional strength for you both today and in the days to come.

Wow, that has to be so hard to watch your Bennett go through all these procedures and be hooked up to so many devices. Like Murray said, I am envisioning Bennett free of tubes/machines and healed by the power of God.
To the parents and grandparents-
I know your concern is twofold right now. I know that your hearts ache for Travis and Kelly and that they ache again for little Bennett.
I pray that you'll have the strength to sustain Travis and Kelly through this time, and that you'll also find avenues through which you can deal with your own sorrow and stress.
Thank you for the role that you've played in the lives of these two special people thus far. They are well-adjusted, loving, people that are strong in their faith. They are a result of your love and care for them through the years. So, all of their friends and loved ones thank you.
Finally, I pray that your grandson is healed, that your daughter/daughter-in-law is healed and has the chance to be the wonderful mommy that I know she'll be, and that your son/son-in-law is able to endure this situation and can be a daddy to his beloved son.
We're all thinking about you and praying for you.

To the aunts and uncles-
As an aunt myself, I know that your concern is just as great as the rest of the family right now. I know that you want to see your nephew be healed and grow up a strong little boy.
Travis and Kelly adore each of you, so I know they're stronger for you being with them at the hospital.
Many people are out here praying for Travis, Kelly, and little Bennett, and we're praying for you too.

A friend of mine, who I emailed about Bennett, forwarded the prayer request to her mother-in-law. Her mother-in-law wrote back and asked that I pass this message along to you:
It's my most precious joy to pray for Bennett. God has healed him already. My faith is strong and I am believing and speaking God's word and promises, for they do not come back void. Send these verses to the parents and everyone on the list to pray morning noon and night: Isaiah 53:4-5, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-13, Isaiah 55:11, Luke 10:19, Romans 4:17, Psalms 91:11-12, Deut. 6:4-9, Luke 4:4., Matt 17:20. No matter what the Drs. say or what anyone else says, speak his healing out loud. Do not get discouraged, Hebrews 10:23 "Let's hold fast to our confessions of hope without wavering for He who promised is faithful. ". Let us all come into agreement and pray God's word and blessing upon this child and he is healed. Don't forget to praise God for His answer read Psalms 147, 148,149 and 150. Send it, pray and see God's healing in Jesus Name. Thank you for asking me to pray, this is the power of God and it is like nothing anyone can compare it to.
This is to anyone there who might know who Kerry and Carolyn are! Please know that we are thinking constantly about all of you, as well as Bennett. How hard this time must be, and how much we appreciate being able to share it with you in this way. We are praying for Bennett's full recovery and for your strength to endure through everything. We love you all!
Carolyn
I will be praying for Bennett and for his family. God is still in the miracle working business, and He is the Great Physician! Keep your faith and trust in God for His perfect plan. Blessings to you all! Missy
Travis and Kelly,
I informed Joshua last night about Bennett and that he needed to pray for him every time he thought about it. As I was praying over Joshua last night he interrupted me and said, "Mommy, you need to pray about Baby Bennett because I'm thinking about him right now."
Our conversation afterwards was about babies and how fragile they are. He then wanted to know all the details about after he was born and how much Mommy and Daddy loved him already. He said, "So, Baby Bennett is only three days old and all these people already LOVE him?" I felt so proud to say "YES!" What a special conversation I got to have with my 6-year-old because of the outpouring of love that is being shown to you.
I love you all. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to tell you this story about Joshua.
Love,
Deborah
Travis, Kelly, and Bennett-
I received a link to your blog from a mutual friend. I will be praying for your sweet son and both of you. Our daughter Macy was born almost four years ago with swelling on the brain and a severe heart defect. She spent the first five weeks in the hospital on many medications and the ventilator. It was very difficult to see her go through that experience and not be able to pick her up and hold her. She also was on ECMO for her heart. I share all this to say the God can do so much more than any doctor will ever tell you. After seeing Macy go through so much, we didn't know what the future held for her. There were so many times that doctors did not seem optimistic for her, and yet God had bigger plans for her. She has come so far from those scary times in the hospital and she has turned into a busy, active, and happy 3 1/2 year old. I will be praying that God will heal your son so that he can become a happy, busy baby. God bless you!
